ChristineWIESENMEYER
Born: 30 June 1831 in Kaesbach, Murrhardt, Germany
The Wuerttemberg Emigration Index: 19 Aug 1853
Married: 16 July 1854 in West Copake, Columbia, NY to George Micheal WURSTER
Died: 14 Feb 1914 in Stanford, Columbia. (family notes states there was a terrible snow storm the day she died).
Notes: Christine's application to America includes 1 child of 2 1/2 years old. The child's birth date (21 Dec 1850) is the same as her son Charles found on the WURSTER web page. A German Birth registry also lists this child's name (Christoff Karl) with Christine as his mother. No father is mentioned.
Immigration Notes:
There is a Christine Wiesenmaier on the ship Erie in Oct/Nov of 1853 at familysearch.org It lists Christine's birthdate as 1829 vs 1831 and she is traveling with a 2 1/2 year old child Heinrich. Christoph Carl would have been about 2 1/2 years old.

(Note from this web author: If you would like a .pdf copy of Christine's passport, German Birth registry, or Christoff Karl's German Birth registry, please email Hugahusky@aol.com.)
Please note...the passport and Birth registries are in the German language and handwriting. Some handwriting parts are hard to read.

Johanna GottliebinWIESENMEYER
Born: 17 June 1837 in Kaesbach, Murrhardt, Germany
Passport Application to USA: 19 Sept. 1855/8 at German Immigration Web Site
Married: ? Philip MUGLER
Died:

Notes: Johanna Gottliebe Wiesenmeyer traveled and arrived in New York the 21st of November 1855 on the ship Kosmos.
According to New York, New York City Marriage Records, 1829-1940 at familysearch.org, George Mugler got married and lists his father as Philip Mugler and mother as Mary Weisenmaire. On 2 April 1931, the Pine Plains "Register Herald" notes that Arthur Wurster and Howard Knoedler attended the funeral of Richard Mugler (who was a cousin). The only way that Richard Mugler could be a cousin is if his mother, Mary Weisenmaire, was the sister to Christine Wiesenmeyer (who was Arthur Wurster's mother from Germany). In the 1900 Census, Mary is listed as being from Germany and came over in 1855 and is the same year that Gottliebe came over at familysearch.org and familysearch.org. The only discrepancy is that the german church record says that she was born June 17, 1837 and the 1900 Census shows her birthday as Jan 1837.
I can not find any source for when Mary and Philip Muger were married but the 1900 Census shows 1859. During that time, she could have changed her name from Johanna Gottliebe to Mary.
Philip may have died 17 Mar 1903 (source: "Columbia Republican", 26 Mar 1903). He died on Thursday after complications from asthma and heart trouble (source: "Chatham NY Republican"). He was listed as having lived in Hillsdale (source: "Chatham NY Courier")
I can not find when Mary Mugler died but the newspaper obit says that Philip left a widow.
